Another one-of-a-kind handpainted piece by CKX Studio, Amsterdam.
A pleated selvedge denim jacket made in the USA by Gauchos somewhere in the 1950s to 1960s. It has been modified somewhere in the past by its former owner to a denim western fringe jacket. We chose an image of famous South American folk hero, ‘Gaucho Gil’ to accompany the brand name of the jacket. Gauchos were skilled horseman, known to be brave & unruly, and in some aspects resemble the North American ‘Cowboys’.
