The masks come with elastics to go around the ears for easy use. It's possible to remove these and use a string of your own to tie behind the neck & head. If desired an extra filter, like a piece of paper towel, can be placed in between the two layers. Store in the plastic seal bag after use, and wash as desired. Washing instructions:Our face masks are made out of 100% cotton, and can be washed at 90 degrees if desired. To better protect shape, longevity & environment, we advise to handwash, and iron on high temperature (with steam) to kill all bacteria.
