Vintage midcentury Japanese firemans jacket. Made from a thick sashiko fabric, and beautiful print on the inside. This sashiko-woven fabric was specifically made for Japanese firefighters because of its durability. It would be soaked in water before going into the fire. In great condition for it's age.
