Levi's made in Japan 506XX repro.
1940's type I model with 'big E' red tab, selvedge denim, single front pocket, back cinch, double pleating on the frontside, and a short boxy fit. 
 
The closed pocket is a regular 1940's model, the jacket with the open pocket is a type I in a regulated WWII style. It features donut buttons and the front pocket without a flap. Due to the rationing of raw materials, unneccesary features were removed.
